How to become Reiki Master

There are two Reiki degrees as well as master's degree. The first degree course begins with an introductory explanation and then the first four initiations the place. The degree courses last several days. The first degree course can be had in the week-end seminars. These seminars are held now in many cities and towns.

Reiki is not taught like courses. We are all born with Reiki in us. During the four initiations, an inner healing channel opens up within you to attune to the flow of Reiki energy.

Reiki Degree for Beginner

The attunements can be attained in various stages. The first degree attunement of the life force depends on opening up of the body to take in larger quantities of energy. Here it raises the vibratory level of the four energy centres (chakras) of the upper part of the body. First it attunes the heart and the lymphoid organ as well as the heart chakra on the cosmic level.

Then It affects the thyroid gland and opens up the root chakra on the etheric level. Thereafter it affects the pituitary gland (centre of higher consciousness and intuition) and hypothalamus. (affecting mood and temperature) and finally opens the Crown Chakra-link with the spiritual consciousness. Once the final attunement is complete, the master can retain the channel for transmitting energy force for whole life.

After the first initiation, one will feel energy flowing through hands, warm, pleasant and healing.

Advise to Beginners

Between various stages, one will feel the different ways of placing his/ her hands on a person. Some participants may have moving experiences and some may only feel relaxed and harmonious. The facial expressions of the students will change; they will look younger and relaxed.

Please note the more Reiki you give, the stronger will be the energy flowing through your hands. So use Reiki as often as one can, to one's own benefit. When one treats others, he/she also feels the effect on self.

Reiki Master Degree

Second Level degree

In the second degree attunement process, there is a jump in the vibratory level. In this stage, the emphasis is on adjusting the etheric body in contrast to the physical body. Here the sixth chakra or the third eye is affected which raises the intuitive abilities of a person. He feels a large pool of energy in his roof chakras as his very survival and sexual centers become stimulated and amplified by 'Kundalini' energy.

Third Level degree

The third degree attunement also raises the vibratory level and activates the master symbol to help others to empower themselves to transmit it the universal energy force to others.

These courses last several days and one has to learn by heart certain symbols ('mantras') discovered by Dr. Usui.

Practicing as Reiki Master

After the first initiation one learns to intensify effects of treatment, according to 'mental' method and heal without needing direct bodily contact.

It is seen that after receiving the second degree attunement only, many students start receiving intuitive messages to guide them. The degree of talent differs from person to person and each one may try to expand his/her own method.
