Identifying the reiki energy field on body

Further more, there is a field of energy around our physical frame. The body has an aura which can be seen with the kirilian photography method. The aura has the same function on the subtle plane as the skin has on the grosser plane. It saves the inner energy body and transfers the subtle information and energies flowing into and out of the body. Like the surface of the body, the aura also absorbs the imprints of the things coming into contact with it. The imprints cause irritation to those persons who are sensitive and running water washes them off. Similarly washing after the Reiki session washes off the imprints taken on during the process.

Crown Chakra: The treatment should not be given on top of head (ie, Crown Chakra) and on navel, they being inlet or entry points of energy.
Thumbs finger position: While giving Reiki thumbs and fingers should be clubbed together.

Hand cup : And hands should be cupped (already told earlier)

Distance between hands : Hands should be at a distance (say 2-3") away from the body while the patient is a woman, especially.

Proper position of Leg: The legs of both the master and the patient should not be crossed as that would hamper easy flow of energy.

Patient Position : The healee preferably should be on a lying down position.

Patient hand Position: The patient should let his arms lay loosely next to his body and while lying on stomach he can fold them under his head.

Reaching untouchable body parts : If any part of the body is difficult to touch or hold, one can beam Reiki. That will have the same effect as touch.

Smoothing the aura: Before laying your hands on the body one may smooth out the aura of the patient
