Reiki Master and Color

There are certain colours which are supposed to promote positive energy and neutralize negative one if used for walls, curtains, carpet, furniture and clothes. They are white, blue-violet, green yellow, orange, rose, etc. One should visualize these colours even while meditating as they produce positive energy.

Like colours, certain sounds also generate positive energy and -transmute the negative ones. All 'satwik' sounds and music fall under this category. That is why one finds comfort and a soothing effect by listening to old melodious songs, devotional and soul-stirring 'bhajans', classical music, flute music, sound generated by blowing a conchshell (shankh) and sounds produced by nature like waterfall, flowing river, moving breeze, chirping of birds, etc. By listening to such sounds, one always feels calm, joyful, and elevated, On the other hand, the modern 'rajasik' music like pop gives only momentary thrill and excitement and hence is not good for energy body.
