In order to harmonize the aura, the patient has to lie on back and the healer has to face him standing to his left. With the right hand, the heeler has a make a movement 8" above the patient from head to foot and back again at least three time.

The reiki attunement opens the palm chakras and increases the sensitivity to pranic energy. By using the chakras in the palm of hands, it is possible to scan the aura and locate the diseased area.

For that one has to sit by his side, tlace his left hand on his abdomen and with right hand, (palm facing downwards) stride along the mid line of the body from head to toe at a distance of about 7/8". After reaching the feet, he has to place his hands in a vertical position and pass it over his body from feet to head from close quarters. The process has got to be repeated three times. After this session, the teacher has to place his left hand on the abdomen and the lower back and repeat the same procedure.
