It should be understood that body weakness or illness is only an expression of lack of basic order because we have fallen out of a state of inner union with life. Disease does not have its origin in material; it is the end product of deep and long acting forces. And Reiki brings us closer to the original state of order. It brings us back in a state which is in harmony with the universe-a state of wholeness .

Reiki is applied not only for healing. Side by side it brings about many changes. So it is observed, develop new ideas-some start doing Yogic exercises, some start meditation or, some others take to other spiritual methods. Most of them start looking on the positive side of life and even change their eating habits. Some of them become aware of their hidden problems and find solutions to them.

It is not that Reiki helps heal a specific part of the body. As said earlier, it is holistic. Many patients have learnt that their other complaints have also been removed-both physical and mental.
